"I needed a last-minute stop over in Hood River. I booked the West Clif and arrived late. I was welcomed warmly by the front staff, I had my Service dog with me no problem. She provided detailed written instructions about where my room was located, where to park, where was the ice machine and what was the Internet access. All excellent. When I went into my room, it was absolutely immaculate and the lights were turned on, so it was welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. The only tiny issue I would recommend is offering two of the four pillows on the bed to be thinner. So that my neck wasn’t uncomfortable. But that was easily solved with me using a towel. Otherwise, everything is excellent."

"Very relaxing. Putting course was fun but golf course only has 9 holes so we golfed at Elk Ridge which was great. Also, Skamania has artificial turf on the golf course greens. They said they were changing that but not sure when. Not sure why someone would do that either."

"1st Floor River View - Room smelled awful like old smoke and mildew and this was definitely a disappointment for the per night room rate. Beds were mediocre in comfortability. Likely would search out different accommodations for another Hood River adventure..."
