"The room was pretty clean, but the old painted countertop and floor in the bathroom felt dirty even though they probably were as clean as everything else. There were black sheets, which make it hard to do a bug/hair check, like many people do before sleeping in a hotel bed. Didn't bother us, and the sleep was comfortable, but others may like the heads up. The staff was very friendly, although I didn't like the check-in through the tiny window I couldn't hear through. "My wife and I didn't really enjoy our stay here this week. It's a little hard parking around the pickups in the driveway. The smell of the room really hit us hard - mildew and too much potpourri. Felt like visiting your grandparents' house. The room & bathroom are stuffed with Americana knickknacks & art you either enjoy it or, like us, are overwhelmed. It's funky, funky, funky. Positives include it was very clean, they offer lots of food items, they have many toiletries in case you forget...
