"Beware if you are driving - the hotel MUST sign you in if you are not arriving between the hours of 7-12 in the morning. We weren’t told about this and it made our arrival horrible. Our room, in the hotel’s annex was so noisy it was impossible to sleep, absolutely dreadful - it was relatively quiet between 4-6am. While the building is beautiful, the staff seem stressed and the noise is horrendous!"

"Positives: location. In Kaleici, so within walking distance of all the historical sights, Mermerli beach (800tl), traditional Hamman (eg. Sefa), bakery (Tarihi Balik pazari) and public transport (tram, bus, taxi) Areas for improvement: Communication. Emails sent prior to arrival not responded to - no access code provided. Telephone number left on front door. Not okay when a late anrrival. Advertisement needs updating to reflect current situation. Overall: A useful base but not really a hotel but more a room attached to a ‘bar’. There was no 24 hour concierge - no food amenities - no courtesy water nor kettle (in room) and no access to the roof top (door locked). The bar did not open during my stay. Re: comments from others re ‘noise’. Given its central location - yes - there was’ noise’ but it was the sounds of traditional live Turkish musicians, or the Muezzin, or contemporary music (all from neighbouring outlets)- all fine."

"The staff were decent but our room was terrible. The bathroom was dirty, the shower was missing a door, the shower head was broken and it always smelt like sewage. The bed was stained and the bedroom was dirty. We also couldn't open the windows because they had chemicals outside and it would make the whole place smell. After the first night our bedroom light went out and they didn't fix it while we were there. Complementary shampoo and hand soap was provided. There were holes in 2 doors, a random cleaning cloth left in the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken."

"We stayed at Adria Inn for 7 nights and had a very pleasant experience overall. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in the Old Town and is within walking distance of many shopping and dining areas, making the location extremely convenient. Our room was a bit small, and it was sometimes difficult to move around, especially with luggage on the floor. However, the room was very clean and well maintained. There was some noise from the street and occasionally from other guests, as the rooms face outward. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option in a great location."
