Rioca Stuttgart Posto 4

Radisson Blu Hotel At Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart
6/10 Okay
"Not the greatest experience, I had booked two twin rooms for 4 male guests. Upon arrival we checked in to two double rooms, reception staff were unable to check us in to twin rooms, the best they could offer was one room with sofa bed and they could change both rooms into twins the following day. The room with a sofa bed had no bedding and we than had to wait on this being delivered to the room. Parking on site was not available the first night which was disappointing. As agreed the next morning staff made arrangements for the rooms to be made up into twins. The second evening we managed to use the car park below the hotel, upon check out one car (me) was charged a parking fee €23, the other was not and the ticket was validated for free, which was slightly annoying. The sky bar was nice and we had some drinks there, we then visited the restaurant and had a pleasant meal, although it seemed to be an issue that we wanted to split the bill and we felt pressured by staff to pay on one card.
This is a nice hotel and a good location for the Porsche museum, unfortunately we just didn’t have the greatest experience."

ARCOTEL Camino
4/10 Poor
"I usually don’t review properties, that we are regular travelers and wanted future guests to know what they’re getting into. The property advertises itself as four stars, but it felt like two stars. The staff at the front desk or warm and welcoming, and the outside of the hotel and shared lobby spaces are fine. But the rooms were really sparse and dirty. Very much like a cheap motel. Actual dirt in the walls, extremely dated, and very cheap amenities. I was particularly frustrated that there was no water in the room to drink. When I asked the front desk, they told me I had to buy it at the bar – and when I did, it cost me nearly 7 euros for a bottle of water. In today’s world of hotels, it is absolutely necessary to provide your guests water. Their hotel is close to the train station, but in quite an ugly industrial area – though a 10 minute walk to the main square. We were really eager to get out of the hotel and into a more comfortable place to stay."

"I entered the room and found dirty towels and a smear on the bed. Had a change of room and all was well. Didnt use the breakfast. Little shop for the emergency food and drink purchases was nice. Staff was nice. "
