I booked my husband one night at this hotel as he had a work training nearby. This morning I saw an $879 charge to our credit card. When I called to get an explanation the clerk said there was a note on the desk that he asked for 12 more nights! I was shocked. I said that wasn’t true and that needed to be remedied immediately. I sent a message and the manager said the night clerk had a physical conversation with the person in room 114 who said they wanted those additional nights. The manager did not seem at all concerned that someone can just write a sticky note with a room number on it and a credit card will be charged hundreds of dollars. All he said was “We are just going by the information that was provided to us by the night clerk we have void the card and no extra charges will be there we do apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.” What kind of policy is this? No checking an id if someone says that they want extra nights for a room number? No signature on anything? Just a sticky note with a room number? Thanks for my understanding? No I don’t understand. People need to be forewarned of how this place manages their business.
