"Our room was clean and spacious, which was a plus, but several issues made this stay frustrating.
Our room was located in the back of the building, outside the main structure, so we had to use the back door and walk around the building just to get back inside, a hassle, especially at night. To make things worse, our key cards repeatedly failed to work. "The room was clean, but the smell throughout the hotel and in the room was terrible. The staff did try to mitigate the smell in the room, but it was too much for us to deal with.
The common area where not very clean or up to date and the smell was very strong. The hotel is pet friendly and I did not smell dog or cat, but maybe it was the cleaning solvent or something.
In the middle of the night we had to book another room in a different hotel and got out of there.
