"Homeless people outside and you would't want to walk to nearby restaurants as I was advised when I called after a long work day and they said they were within 5 minutes walking distance...homeless people and not a very good area. I drove around forever to find a restaurant and parking is horrible."

"Pros: the room was clean and updated and the staff was friendly and helped us check in early. The location is walkable to the University of Arizona. Cons: the neighborhood is sketchy. "

"Parking was safe and underground so our car remained cool during hot days. Parking was extra. Our room was beautiful and clean and quiet. "Excellent location downtown. Room design is a bit too minimalistic. Two tiny drawers for clothes. Weird electrical stuff going on in our room. Lights in entrance worked and then stopped working. Cannot turn on bathroom light without Master switch and all lights on. Bath fan never worked. Room design with shower and bath and glass sliding door does not provide privacy. Just a strange setup. Whomever is designing these hotels is focused on cost savings, not the user experience. "

"We have been coming to this Marriott property annually to visit our grandchildren and when we arrived, they said the pool was closed for deep cleaning when in fact it was a broken pump and every day we were told was being fixed and never was until our last night there. They had a note on the pool saying due to anyone inconvenience please ask at the front desk for special accommodations.
