The location was ideal, with easy access to entertainment, food, and the city center. The host was wonderful. It was the perfect base for exploring Nottingham, and I truly appreciated the quiet comfort of the space after busy days out. "Here’s a polished review you could post: We recently stayed at Drayton Manor Hotel and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, there were two members of staff on Reception. One was on the phone dealing with a query, while the other appeared to be dealing with the same issue on the computer. Despite clearly waiting to check in, we were completely ignored for over 15 minutes, very poor customer service. We were also unhappy to be charged £9 for parking, as this was never mentioned when we made the booking through Hotels.com. No explanation when asked. Food options that evening were extremely limited, with only pizzas and sides available. The portions were small and very overpriced for what you received. The room itself had not been cleaned properly, with rubbish left on the floor, and the soap dispenser was almost empty. The only positive part of our stay was that the towels were very soft and fluffy. Overall, the hotel did not meet expectations, shame, I will not be recommending it."

"Hotel in a ideal location for Donington Park / East Midlands airport. Room was immaculate and the staff super friendly and helpful. The only negative point is that previously you were able to eat at bar / lobby area, this option is no longer available with the only options available being the restraunt or 24 hour room service"
