"The rooms themselves were great and the breakfast was delicious. However, there is a shared kitchen which is available to prepare any other meals…it is not in good condition at all and needs some serious TLC if the space is to be offered for guest use. For example the oven is FILTHY, the sink is perpetually full of used, dirty dishes and cutlery/crockery/glasses/cookware all need to be upgraded/replaced. I think the shared space is a great idea, but it has to be drastically improved to reflect...

Their hospitality really sets this place apart. They are incredibly attentive, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our stay. The Rooms: Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and elegantly decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. The Setting: Relaxing on the patio overlooking the garden was a highlight. It’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a quiet sundowner. Whether you are visiting for a school event or just need a getaway in the mist-belt, Gateside is the place to be.
