"The property was beautifully decorated/renovated w beautiful greenery & natural wooden desks/tables. There are 3 common areas - the front w comfortable couches, water refilling station & coffee/tea, an inner lounge area w board games & books w comfortable seating and an indoor room w couches & pillows (which was too cold for my liking so I didn’t spend any time in there). The rooms are very small, especially for a family of 4 and the beds could have been a bit firmer. Bedding was comfortable & soaps/shampoo provided smelled nice. The position of the hand soap dispenser was between the sink & toilet which made for a messy sink area because the water dripping from your hands would collect on the counter and then drip to the floor. They have a window air conditioning unit in each room but because the windows don’t seal and the weather was consistently rainy the 3 days we were there, the room always felt damp and our towels & swimsuits never fully dried. The staff was incredibly friendly; they even offered free bicycles & paddle boards to use. Unfortunately we weren’t able to utilize them during our stay. I also appreciated how they try to conserve energy by having things off before guests arrive and part of the room fees are donated to an organization that helps families in need. We wished the pool hours would have been later than 7pm or earlier than 8am. Overall I loved the way the hotel looked & the amenities provided. Just wish everything wasn’t so damp & watery everywhere!"
