"We stayed one night in the Royal Suite with its own hotspring bathtub in the room. Didn’t realize it at the time of booking but it comes with the best dining seating location which gives the best view of the lush and tranquil garden, free private hot springs downstairs, and a huge suite room. Kaiseki dinner was just exquisite and delicious as well as the breakfast next morning. Almost like a fine dining experience. "Great hotel/hostel linked to a cafe, shop and cinema. The hotel was great overall, but by comparison to the rest of the facilities, the room felt a touch basic, if perfectly comfortableand spotlessly clean. Great location in Karatsu, within a 5 minute walk to the train station and on a great pedestrianised street full of great shops (mainly with pottery goods). Would totally recommend."
