Lyttos Beach - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"This was our 2nd visit. A couple with 2 kids. We had a ground floor room in the new building (4000). Family room with sliding door. The room was spacious. Lots of closet apace as well. Beds and pillows- comfortable. The bathroom was between 2 room, good location. The sliding door was noisy, closes with a bang. The bathroom was good, water pressure a bit low. We stayed for 3 nights, after the 1st night our room was cleaned but after the 2nd- no. Had to ask for fresh towels. Had some ants on the floor from the balcony. Probably better to ask for a non-ground floor room. Lots of noise from the Cicadas, at no fault of the hotel of course. Some negatives regarding the restaurants- last time, 2 years ago, at every restaurant there would be someone showing us to a table according to the number of people. Now- we had to find a table by our selves, sometimes needing to ‘outrun’ a bit someone else to get the vacant table. The food is quite repetitive, but the selection is wide. All of the restaurants, except of the asian, serve the same food. And in all of the restaurants, it is the same food every single day, and the same as it was 2 years ago. Also a negative regarding sun-beds occupying with towels. They dont stop this phenomenon, and if you come after 10, almost no beds available. Some are ‘taken’ by a towel or 2 and for the whole day- no one !comes to lie there. They should not allow this"

"Generally very nice hotel, some areas I think need to be modernised, the safe in the room did not work even though I mentioned it to Reception twice. Sun beds were generally always available, which was a good thing and the slides in the waterpark were excellent for children. Food was excellent in each restaurant we went to."

"Amazing property! I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, every staff member was welcoming, personable, and eager to help. My room was incredible, featuring a private pool, steam room, a 360° TV that doubles as a mirror, and excellent Bluetooth speakers. The amenities throughout the property were equally impressive, including the well-equipped gym, fantastic restaurant, and beautiful pool with floating lounge chairs. This is truly a state-of-the-art property with exceptional service. Its location is another major plus—just six minutes from Heraklion Airport, making it incredibly convenient. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"We had a luxe swim up room, everything was super clean and well kept facilities. Very friendly staff! They set you up with a mobile app upon arrival that was also very helpful if you’re worried about a language gap. The buffet food was very good and you can also pay for à la carte meals at one of four restaurants! So worth the stay"

"I had a pleasant stay. My room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful. It was a great location on the strip, close to everything. Everything is within walking distance or a short drive away. My only complaint is that when you pay for half board it doesn't include any drinks or beverages. You have to pay for them. That wasn't made clear in the reservation. I was able to get the 20% off food and beverages expedia discount, but only at the a la carte restaurants. When I requested an iron and ironing board, I was only given an iron, because apparently the ironing boards were only available in the next category up room and they were all occupied. That was very inconvenient. My room keys kept giving issues and the phone in my room wasn't working, so I had to keep making multiple trips to the front desk, which got tiring after a while. The main bedroom light above my bed stopped working on day 2. The bathroom gets soaked when you shower, because there is nothing to prevent the water from splashing everywhere. There were a few of those damp/drain moth flies in the shower. Upon arrival the parking lot was full, so I had to park in a public parking area nearby. The provided parking lot at the hotel is quite small. It can only hold about 10 cars. The food was delicious. Shout out to Nikos, Malamo, Karina and Vasilis for being so courteous and helpful during my stay. They gave me great recommendations as well."
