Very nice room with a lovely view over the vines. Breakfast was wonderful and generous with everything homemade, served on the private terrace. A short drive to tavernas in the local villages, and only about 15 mins into Heraklion.

Breakfast on a private patio with views over the vineyard, what more could you want? A comfy bed, huge bathroom and friendly welcome. We loved it so much we booked a second night for our road trip around Crete. Very handy for Knossos too.

The vineyard these villas are located on is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast is amazing and made to order (you fill out a breakfast menu card when checking in and it’s served at a time of your choosing each morning). It’s a rustic but elegant place and in need of a deep clean. The floors, bathroom and sheets are definitely well looked after but every corner has cobwebs and spider nests dot the ceilings. The outdoor patio furniture could use a good scrub. I washed down the table and chairs myself before breakfast was served. This place is still worth the stay but be cautious if you’re looking for ‘crystal-clean’.

One of the best properties to stay in Crete to get the real Cretan countryside feeling. Magnificent mountain and hill views, comfortable room and very nice people. Part of the Skalani area, good access to highways, and only 15 minutes drive to the center of Heraklion.

Fantastic location, away from the city but only an 15 min drive from the city centre. Excellent breakfast. Thanks to Ms Chryssa for the great hospitality. The main bed was very comfortable however the sofa bed wasn’t.

This was the loveliest place we stayed. It's rural and the views are amazing. It is simple, quiet and relaxing and the staff are amazing and really made our stay special. They have a small menu for guests and the food is EXCELLENT! We will stay here again even longer next time we are in Crete.

Overal een perfecte verbinding met internet, schitterend uitzicht over het wijngoed, service van de hotelière en alle anderen was geweldig; zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. En dan als kers(en) op de taart nog die rust, het heerlijke à la carte-ontbijt op je eigen terras en niet te vergeten de topwijnen die Scalarea produceert.

Quando ti trovi veramente bene lontano da casa, quasi da sentirti come a casa! Tutto perfetto, la permanenza in un posto magnifico in mezzo alle vigne, anche se a poca strada da Heraklion, è stata veramente rilassante. Colazione servita nella stanza (ampia e luminosa), con annessa doccia enorme (con vetrata che da sulla camera da letto), bagno con ogni ammennicolo, camera con frigobar, macchinetta Nespresso, bollitore con caffè solubile e infusi, acqua offerta, aria condizionata/riscaldamento, TV, un armadio spazioso, la cassaforte, un letto comodo con due tipologie di cuscini. La colazione abbondante viene servita all'orario richiesto. All'esterno, una veranda con sedie e tavolini utili per le serata calde, giusto per respirare l'aria fresca. La gentilezza della proprietaria, superlativa!

Très bel endroit plein de charme au calme

Situé à une quinzaine de minutes de l'aéroport, nous avons passé notre première nuit en Crète dans cet endroit dépaysant, en plein coeur des vignes et oliviers. Veille bâtisse rénovée avec beaucoup de charme. Accueil très sympathique et bon petit déjeuner. Nous étions un couple avec 2 jeunes enfants. Le deuxième lit simple est un peu moins confortable que l'autre, conviendrait moins pour un adulte.

Quiet setting outside Skalani

Three large, modern, comfortable residences located adjacent to (but not owned by) the Boutari winery tasting room. Plan on waking about 100 m from the winery parking lot. Beautiful view. Quiet setting, not like the craziness of Heraklion nearby. Breakfast served on the patio outside the apartment.

Magnifique endroit, accueil très sympatique. La résidence est très bien située pour se rendre à l'aéroport. Nous avons pu visiter les chais avec un homme qui a réussi à transmettre l'amour de son métier malgré la barrière de la langue, merci à Nikolos. Juste un bémol à cet endroit magnifique, il me semble qu'un léger manque d'organisation pour le petit déjeuner est à régler. En effet, je n'avais à faire que 3 petits-déjeuners sur place et seul un a été complet.

We had an amazing 2-night stay. The location, surrounded by vineyards and orchards, is wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious and were served on our private terrace overlooking the countryside. It is a very short drive from Knossos, and easily accessible from Heraklion, although a car is advisable.
