"The hotel is brand new, it was open in December 2024. It has 3 restaurants, a buffet offering asian, indian and international food, a great italian restaurant with great pizza, and one of the best authentic thai restaurant with the most amazing staff. "We had a wonderful 8 night stay in this luxury resort. The ocean villa was huge and had wonderful sunset views. We loved the large infinity pool on the main island, the snorkelling on the house reef where we saw stingrays and reef sharks, the variety of restaurants and the overall luxury feel of the resort."

"Just returned from a fabulous trip to Oaga Art Resort. We've been to a few 5-star resorts in the Maldives. This place is very special. "We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. There really wasnt anything that let this island down. The food was incredible, the service on point and there wasnt a chance to get bored with all the activities and facilities available. The dive centre is the best ive ever been to. All the staff there were super helpful. The dive guides extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to dive with. Our guide Kartik was brilliant. He took us to some mind blowing dive spots all only a short distance from the island. We also did a night dive on the house reff which is just beautiful. "

"Easily accessible by 15-20 minute speedboat transfer. Warm hospitality and impeccable service. Breakfast menus change each day. Dinner inclusion in half-board is different each night so get to try different cuisine. Same butler (Mr/Ms Friday) throughout the entire stay which is great. Crystal clear turquoise water, very beautiful. Highly recommended and I would love to return to Gili in the near future."

"Varu was exactly in its name, an Atmosphere experience! From the drum ceremony arrival to the birthday dinner on the dock gazebo to the food and the service. Impeccable! I celebrated my birthday at Varu and absolutely loved the experience. Abby, Zune and the entire crew were phenomenal. I made new friendships here. My only suggestions are more entertainment during the evenings. It's a little bit dead after 9pm during the weekdays. But we would absolutely recommend. Charcoal is worth every moment! Food might be the best we've ever had. Try the lamb skewers, Wagyu and Pork Belly. Phenomenal! My water villa was what dreams are made of! Will definitely be back. "

"I don't understand the people who give less than 4-star reviews to this holiday destination. They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "
