"Stayed 4 nights. Check in was easy and evening clerk very nice. Carpet was full of white dog hair. Had to request carpet to be vacuumed the next morning. One area still had hair but we didn’t ask again. We didn’t realize that we would not have service for fresh towels & trash removal during our stay. Had to ask for fresh towels/wash cloths daily and one night no washcloths available for a bit. The safe did not work.
Continental breakfast was ok but minimal and mundane.
Several of the employees could use some behavioral training in front of guests. One of the clerks spoke very loud and when talking to other workers about personal issues we could clearly hear things such as “I told her that wasn’t any of her business.”. Nor was it ours. We heard one gentleman using the “f” bomb on several occasions. Once with another man standing in the laundry room.
The rooms could use some updating and repair. Our bathroom needed a new baseboard."
"I called the reservation line to get the number for this facility- (Maybe post it somewhere?)The shower was clogged and they fixed while I was at a Graduation. I like the no- contact policy."
"The front desk staff and breakfast staff were very kind and polite. The air conditioner in the room was very loud. The grounds of the property really need some TLC. The pool temp was perfect."
"When I first walked into the room there was strong chemical order. The room it self is very small. You hardly have space to walk in. About 10 inches between the 2 beds. There was a tv but no remote. No bar soap. Walls are paper thin. I heard everything going on in the next room. I definitely will not stay there again. "
"Plain exterior outside surprised us with IMMACULATE indoors at every turn, friendly offer of suitcase carried by host at desk due to elevators out of service. we had clean comfort at a fair price and every interaction with staff was friendly. Plenty of parking. Thank you!"
"Some things were nicely kept and some were not. Mold in the shower on the silicone edges no extra pillows or blankets. TV guide was very confusing. Breakfast cheaply made and no flavored creamer for coffee. Bacon wasn’t really bacon. More like slivers of fat. Water was $8 to purchase there or walk down the road to a convenience store for a better deal. Sketchy neighborhood if you needed to walk in the evening. Lots of deals going on behind buildings. Check in and out was seamless as long as you didn’t need to go to the front desk for anything. Then they wanted you to fill out paperwork. Weird."
"Warning - DO NOT BOOK! Steer clear of this. It is run down- the front doors won’t shut/ open in Lobby and have huge rust holes in them. Hostess told us TV wasn’t working this night and that there would not be breakfast- as it was being remodeled- the lobby seemed well maintained except for the doors. (after getting up to the room- you wouldn’t pay me enough to eat anything there anyways) The hallways, staircase and rooms smelled like urine. In the first room, The bathroom had hair all over the floor and tub- like someone shaved thier head, there was melted icecream? On the carpets by the non working refrigerator. The windows had screens half way in half falling out - we tried to get fresh air in. Absolutely disgusting!! Returned to Hostess she happily upgraded me to a suite -( I should have cancelled and walked away- but no more options available at that time of day in the city during graduation and sports tourney weekend).
New room still had that awful smell but was mostly clean. Half eaten potato chips on window sill- baseboard in bathroom splattered with nasty stuff. White couch with stains all over it.
We had originally booked for 2 nights and was able to find something else the next- thank goodness she refunded me for the next night. Don’t book ever!! Sleeping in your car would be better-trust me!"
