Western Accommodation in China at a GREAT Price
This hotel was great. Our super-clean room with a King bed only cost $25CDN/night! The exterior of the hotel could use some improvement; but, that's common with so many buildings in China. There's a bike rental stand right outside the hotel. Unfortunately, the bike stand is useless for most tourists from outside China because the App to get the bike requires a local (verifiable) cell number. The hotel should offer a bike rental. There would be a lot of interest in this from the tourists. The hotel is right on the Heihe waterfront and it's situated on one of the best parts too! We loved our stay in Heihe, the hotel's proximity to the sites and the waterfront activities. We're now looking at making the Hanting and IBIS hotels part of our future stays in/around Asia.
