"The staff were very helpful before we arrived answering all our questions. There is no lift, but they agreed to carry all our luggage up and down the stairs for us. When we arrived they did this without us reminding them. They also supplied a kettle. We were given a room on the first floor - all of which we had requested in advance. The staff were all very helpful in answering our questions and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful - a very good start to the day. The bus service (free on the Chur card) was frequent and very good; the stop was only about 2 mins from the hotel. We were at the station in about 3 minutes travelling time. We had a taxi to the hotel when we arrived - expensive at 20 euros. If only the information about the buses could have been provided by the hotel in advance of our stay it would have saved a lot of money! Overall it was a very happy stay and our needs were very well catered for. We would stay again if ever we found ourselves in Chur."

"5/5 - Best "jail break" ever! Absolutely loved our stay at Bogentrakt Hostel. Sleeping in a former prison cell with original heavy doors was such a unique concept, but the hostel itself is modern, bright, incredibly clean, and cozy. Perfect location in Old Town Chur, super close to the station, and the staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"What an amazing experience from start to finish. Easy and affordable booking, easy self serve checking in & checking out. A really modern comfortable clean room. The amenities offered were amazing. We had full use of everything on the top floor. Highly recommended for couples and hard working singles who need to unwind. A real delight."

"We had a great stay at this hotel. Stunning views onto Lake Walen. This is a self check-in facility but it's rather easy. Make sure you're in touch with the management online. Parking is offsite, about a 8 minute walk away. We believe it's run by the resident catholic nuns. Breakfast is simple but good. Rooms are modern and clean."

"Roomy, updated room/bathroom with balcony. Terrific fresh breakfast. Use of e-bike or city bike available. Lots of hiking accessible, 10 min walk to Therme, 15 min to train station. No car needed!"

"Dear black travelers, this is . Switzerland made me feel like home away from home, at this hotel specifically. We had an amazing time here! The staff is very friendly and speaks English well. The breakfast hours are 0630-1030 and the selection is very nice. They had a mix of traditional american choices (bacon, scrambled and boiled eggs, toast, yogurt) and European choices (assorted seeds and nuts, many different types of breads and crossants, ham, salami, cured meats, and cheese). The casino is a decent size. It has a couple blackjack tables, roulette, and 1 table thats the equivalent to ultimate Texas holdem. Then ofcourse an assortment of slots. The restaurant is also pretty good. When you go in your room there may be a large circular paper that looks like a casino chip. You can use 1 per day, per person. Ensure you take it daily to the check in desk in the casino or cashiers cage if the promotion is going on. Its 10 free CHF. They also offer discounts for the waterpark thats a short walk away. The room was comfortable and the shower water was very very very hot. Be careful. The bathroom could have been cleaner but it wasnt too horrible."
