Although the owners are trying to “upgrade/renovate”the rooms, it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. The room was freshly painted and new flooring down. Could not use the shower as it was filthy and old.

Pleasantly surprised how nice the room was, clean and everything modern and nice. Dislikes, the smoke detector was missing. Room had excellent bright lighting with 4 recessed LED fixtures, all 4 controlled by 3 switches around the room, problem that was the only lighting, no table lamps or any other. So if you want a light while in bed, watching TV, getting up in the AM to go to the bathroom, ALL 4 bright lights come on. No clock. I think by code there should be info in the packet on the back of the door there was none.

This is a great place to stop when driving long distance to your destination. It was fairly priced, the rooms were a lot nicer than I expected and the staff was AMAZING! They're pet friendly and only charge $10 compared to other places that charge up to $50 we lost our cat who is nervous when traveling and the manager belief us go through every book and cranny including the ceiling tiles in the bathroom. He went above and beyond by rewinding security takes to help us see if she snuck past us out the door. Fortunately, after leaving all of it our cat popped up in the window and we were on out way. I highly recommend this spot for the weary traveller. Especially if you have a pet with you.

It was the only place in the area under $100 and we just needed a place to sleep. The mattress were comfortable that's about the only nice thing I can say. I don't mind old places but this was not even attempted to be properly cleaned. Did love the old school key

Sleep in your car instead.
The place need major renovations. Motion switches for the lights, quite annoying. Wallpaper pealing. Needs painting. TV doesn’t work. Some parts look like they are going to fall at any time. They had not picked up a towel from a prior occupant.

The room I was in looked exactly like the picture advertised. It looked like it had been updated, and the bed was very comfy. I did however have a hard time with the old lock in the door, you really have to jiggle it.

Pleasantly Surprised
I really wasn't expecting much from this little place. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly as we were greeted as soon as we came in the door. I even appreciated the fact that they were "old school" and still used a key!

Very nice couple taking care of the hotel. But the room was very dirty. So dirty that my socks turned black walking without shoes across the room. When I wiped the tile floor with a towel, the towel turned black as well.

I really cannot say anything positive. One of the beds was broken, only one towel for 2 people, and the mold, yes mold! There was so much mold throughout the entire room, and one of the locks on the door was basically halfway off the door and served no real purpose.

I expected it to be run down and old but it was also filthy. No attempt to even clean the bathroom. Spend the extra for a nicer spot.

This place was horrible. First off the room smelled like mildew and cigarettes. The tv and phone didnt work, the entire place had a film of dust over everything. The carpet was so nasty to walk on and the bathroom had a nasty smell like they didnt clean it properly even the tub felt slippery when we used it.The only good thing was the towels and sheets smelled clean but we itched all night long. I really regret spending money on this place DONT DO IT!!!

Really good
The property was great. It had an unfortunate issue with water on this particular trip, but it was really out of the places control. It was likely from heavy rain, and the complex is on its own well water supply. Its a georgious place, well designed, and quite unusually nice for Hazleton. Not much of anything is actually nice in that city. I was pretty impressed.
