"This hotel was okay. It was a golf club, and as you know, golf resorts are usually more expensive, but the price was affordable. At night, when we arrived, it was already very late, but I had called earlier to confirm if I could still check in, and they said yes. The person who helped us at 11 p.m. was very polite. "Really cool, old hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was really good, and the bed was comfortable! The room was a little dated, and didn't have outlets on both sides of the bed, and I also wished it had a mini fridge and microwave, but overall it was an enjoyable stay and we'd go back!"

"Great location and a well-maintained property. One thing to know before you arrive: there is no cell phone service in the area. Management recommends printing your check-in instructions ahead of time, and I’d strongly suggest doing so—at the very least, make sure you have the Wi-Fi password handy. "The interior of the small apartment was clean. The bed was uncomfortable, however; the mattress needs to be replaced. We knew it was a double bed, but rolling into each other made for a bad night's sleep which was aggravated by the amazing number of dump trucks who ground through their gears rounding the corner of Route 7. On the other hand, after I asked for a hot plate so I could boil some water for dinner, the host provided us with a pot, steamer, and wonderful hot plate that worked...

"The rooms were very clean, but restraunt/lounge was closed due to no staff and that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel because there is nothing close to go eat and have a drink, so we chose this hotel BUT it was not open and no where on the web site it said it was closed, and was not told this when they called to confirm my resorvations, didnt find out until we got there so that was a dissapointment, the tv screeen was messed up, very very small. "Our weekend getaway at The Lodges Sunset Village was excellent. Loved the quaint atmosphere and cozy cabin. It was a great size for 3. Close shops and eateries near by. Staff was accommodating and prompt. The only suggestion I would give is that when providing the cabin number/addresses to the lake side properties to use cabin5 address for all rooms. "This place was great. It exactly met our needs. There is a great gym, a really nice heated indoor pool and a cute little park. We stayed in one of the townhouses. It was clean and had everything we needed to make meals. We will definitely come back next time we visit WV"
