Hotels in Hawthorne Park, Grand Junction

"This is one of the worst motel 6 locations I've experienced. The room was in extremely rough shape. The door had gaps all around it. The bathroom door didnt even shut all the way. The sink was nasty and rotted out. They had a portable a/c unit squeezed next to one of the beds so it could be vented out the window. However, there wasn't space for it so they shoved the beds together leaving no room to walk between them. The a/c wasn't movable so it just blew towards the poorly sealed door, not even cooling the room.The window was falling out of the track and was barely held up by 2 wobbly screws. Not at all secure as I was able to open the window from the outside. The staff were were awesome but that was the only positive. I definitely won't be staying at this location again."

"This was our second stay. We enjoy the vineyard setting and grounds. Our TV/cable did not work, but the staff was very helpful in trying to resolve this problem. We will be back!"

"Cockroaches, no amenities, flying ant's, not even a chair to sit on. Had to eat on the beds. There were tables but no chairs. The tops of the headboards were filthy with dust. "

"Breakfast was good. Pet area needs cleaning. Also, i don't understand why the parking pass displayed in the window would not suffice rather than charging the 5 dollar parking fee. In addition I was charged an additional 10 dollar fee for a pet friendly even though we booked one through a third party. The outdated room was carpet square stained and the chair was obviously used as a cat scratching pole."

"Nice hotel in general, and very friendly staff, but unfortunately the fridge on my room was not working great. It would run for some time, eventually the compressor overheated, and often I would need to unplug then replug the fridge to make it start up again. Sometimes it got too warm for my comfort and I had to throw out leftover food, which in effect wasted some of my money."
