"The rooms are small and minimalist but that's OK as they get everything else right. The rooms were spotless, the property was beautifully kept and the price of booking was affordable. The attached restaurant had excellent and affordable food, in fact we noticed that many of its patrons were locals. The location being 20 minutes from the airport was a nice added bonus. "

"We had a quick stay for an early flight the next morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed and kindly offered to prepare breakfast for us in the morning. I wouldn’t stay at this property again in the future though due to a few uncomforts. Their dogs barked during the night, waking us up. There was a bright light next door that illuminated our room. "Staff was helpful, room was clean. Options for private or shared bathroom. Front door locked in the evening and no guests allowed, so safe for single travelers. Beer and water for sale and front desk, and a nice little balcony on the river. Short walk to the museum."

"The room was clean, air conditioning was cold and staff was great. It was a little hard to locate as it does not have a traditional lobby. The lobby is on the 2nd floor inside the Call center and casino tower. The lobby closes at a certain time and a number to call is posted, althought the staff is responsive."

"Cathy and Don were great hosts! The rooms were clean and Cathy even cooked dinner for the 7 of us after we arrived at 5:30 pm. There are restaurants within a 15-30 minute walk, but it was nice to sit down for a while after enjoying a type “A” vacation for the past 8 days! Pool, air conditioning, hot water and a delicious meal! Julia "

"I looked at room while I was checking in. A shopping cart in front of the door. The room smelled bad and looked old. The bathroom was filthy. I never checked in, I told the secretary I do not want to stay here, so I didn't. "

"The pool was closed and under renovation. the restaurant served me hot beer with a mug of ice and I still have to pay for it. The bodywash in our room was watered down couldn’t use that. and the breakfast was cold. "

"Very peaceful place to stay with nice restaurant on the grounds. Gated access added to security. Able to walk along the water front and to a few different eateries. Only a seven minute, easy walk to the water taxis. We caught our bus to Guatemala near the water taxis. Wish we had saved some time to catch the water taxis to a one or more of the excursions offered."
