"We were worried after reading a few reviews but very happy with our stay overall . Rooms were huge , very high end place and in a great location. Beautiful beach but a bummer not advised to swim due to dangerous undertow .. The one pool was closed for renovations but there were still 2 open , so it didn’t bother our stay. I will say only the following were “downsides”: 1. On check in you get charged 72 a day resort fee plus 200 a day for incidentals up front ., which felt like sticker shock for a 7 day stay . We had food from all the restaurants and it was all so good . Everything is super expensive however. … drinks at $18+ each , a can of Diet Coke $6. Housekeeping services were not the best . We were clearly out of toilet paper and was not restocked . Seemed they did the minimum like empty trash and make a bed whether we tipped or Not . A lot of reviews complained about it being a noisy hotel at night . I did not find that to be the case . There was a lot of night life but we weren’t bothered by it in our room . It was more of an adult vibe although there were kids . Overall I loved our stay , loved the decor and cleanliness of the hotel , loved the food, loved the location. Didn’t love that it was massively expensive ."

"Writing this review to really thank Andrea who helped me at the front desk. My flight was cancelled and I had an extremely exhausting day at the airport. Scrambling to find a booking, I had booked for the wrong dates. My sister’s booking has been confirmed and she asked permission for three people to be in one room for the night. After an awful day at the airport and bad news her kindness was 10/10. I’m so thankful for her and Valeria who else helped her and allowed me to check into my room early the next day. After flight cancellations and being told I had to wait three days for another flight, her care and understanding was crucial. I appreciate the hospitality I received and will return to stay at the Sonesta. Shout out to the entire front desk team as I know many people helped us upon arrival!"

"La mejor ubicación, de san Juan queda todo cerca hay un restaurante en la esquina para desayunar muy bueno y barato entonces queda perfecto, lo malo es el parqueo pero eso es en todas partes, en recepción nos recomendaron un parqueo cerca muy barato así que relación precio servicio está muy bien todo ahí en el hotel lo recomiendo, habitaciones limpias"

"I loved how clean and welcoming the facility was. It was a smooth process form check in to check out. The room was clean and I liked that they came daily to replenish towels and freshen the room without being requested daily. The view from my room was perfect!"
