"Amazing Solo Birthday Trip! I went on a solo trip to Whala! Boca Chica to celebrate my birthday and it was such a great experience. I went there to relax, and that’s exactly what I got! From the moment I arrived, the welcome was amazing especially thanks to Amado, the bellman. He was so helpful and kind, it really set the tone for my stay. "The beach area was amazing and very well kept! Plenty of chairs and a bar close by. The water was not clear like carribian water but there was no problems with seaweed on the beach. Two pools-one quiet and one party. Download the app ahead of time and make your dinner reservations prior to arriving as they fill up fast. The resort was extremely relaxing and we had a great time. "My family and I visited the Dominican Republic for the first time and stayed at Secrets Playa Esmeralda. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and beautiful tropical views. From the blue ocean and mountain landscape. Just WOW! My family and I decided to upgrade to  Preferred Club, and the attention from every member of the staff was excellent. It truly elevated our experience. But there was one person, in particular, who made our trip extra special, Stephanie. She was incredible. She was so attentive, kind, and thoughtful. She was always making sure everything was right for me and my family. What made her stand out was how genuine she was and the care and love she poured into everything she did. It never felt like it was part of her job to go above and beyond for us. It felt like it came straight from her heart. She truly made us feel at home, and she made sure that our first time in the Dominican Republic would be nothing short of AMAZING. Her great energy, beautiful personality, and sincere dedication left a forever impression on my entire family. Thank you, Stephanie, for making this trip so special and memorable.
