"A good experience. I wish they didn't have carpets in the rooms, as it doesn't have a fresh smell. Also, the sliding bathroom door is an issue. First, it didn't close all the way. Second, it's a hazard when you open it if a person is using the closet. Breakfast was good and it was very well maintained."

"The property was quite unique.. and very close to amenities and attractions. Convenient to all areas.. close to the Princess crystal Mineral rock hounding. The hostess was amazing and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Felt like home away from home. Was a special getaway.. breakfast was delicious. Her lovely dog Luna was amazing .beautiful Lake view on property.. 10 out of 10 .would go back for sure."

"Our stay was okay. Found it a bit dirty, huge dustballs and dirt in corners of our room, old chipped furniture, walls throughout chipped or stained. Breakfast was horrible. One day super salty scrambled eggs and the next day our sunny side up eggs were covered in half a teaspoon of pepper. Bacon was super salty, overcooked, as was the toast. Weird 70’s conference room chairs in the dinning room. Just a hodgepodge of a motel."

"We had a pleasant one-night stay at this property. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, with a lovely small park and a small beach right in front, which is perfect for families with young children. We also appreciated having a TV in the room so we could watch a FIFA match during our stay. The room was a little small for two adults and two children, but it was manageable for one night. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a calm location."

"Parking was great. The air conditioning is great. Nice big soaker tub but not sure if the drain would work to keep the water in. The room was ok not as clean as it could be. The bathroom ceiling fan needs a cleaning for sure. The guy running the place offered to help us bring stuff up to our room but then he didn't. We couldn't get a room on the first floor. He's saving those for people who have mobile issues or pets. The ice machine is all the way in the basement and there are no...

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room cleanliness wasn’t up to my standards, but it was clean enough. The parking was disorganized and a massive hole where we could park our motorcycle. But I would sleep there again, if I ever go to Bancroft again"

"An adequate and clean 2 star hotel. The hotel is nicely located about 10 minutes from Belleville, an hour from Sandbanks provincial park, and about 45 minutes to wine country. Rooms are a bit dated but were well cleaned. The hotel is also really nicely located with several fast food and restaurant options right there for a quick bite. Staff were friendly. The free breakfast was adequate with eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, yogurt, coffee and waffles."
