"We had a wonderful stay with my husband here in December. The owners of the hotel are very hospitable and even shared some Stollen with us, which was the first time we tried it and now really enjoy this German sweet bread. The room was perfect for our stay and comfortable. It is located right next to the historic fortress, which was unbelievable. "

"The hotel was centrally located and had easy walk distance to the nearby castle and marketplace. The room was comfortable and the included breakfast had a wide variety. Several staff members could understand and speak English which helped a lot. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The concierge seemed very annoyed to help us, especially when we didn't know German. He kept throwing up his hand and said no English and I don't know. I tried to use a translator app but he didn't want to use it..instead he asked the guests behind us to translate. It felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. It was a shocking experience for us. We have never experience such an inappropriate interaction before. It left a bad impression for us. This is not the best hotel to visit if you don't speak German or want friendlier service. "

"Angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Allerdings ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig. Man kann jeden hören der im Gang langgeht. Das war kein Problem weil nachts niemand umhergelaufen ist, aber es ist mir morgens aufgefallen als alle zum Frühstück gegangen sind."
