The hotel itself is old and showing wear - fraying carpets, smoke smells, paint peeling in the bathtub. But the beds were clean and comfortable and we got 2 great nights of sleep.
Bed was comfortable. Towels were new. Holes in walls. Missing light bulbs. No shower curtain and no staff to bring one to the room. Bathroom fan was missing a cover. Bathroom door would not close. But the price was right and we needed a bed for the night.
I was traveling to my daughters and needed a place to stay for the night on my way to NY. Room was clean and the night attendant was very friendly and helpful!
Room basically clean. But there were some dirty crumbs on the table of unknown origin.
Bed good.
No shelf in refrigerator but freezer works well.
And more like - there are pluses and there are minuses.
Also.
At 4 am I heard beeping coming from the corridor. Looked like smoke sensor though I didn't feel real smoke. I thought the batteries ran off. I used an extra pillow to cover head.
At 5 fire department comes. They said somebody burnt a toilet.
Of course hotel is not responsible for actions of guests but still - unpleasant for me.
They were so attentive to my family. Whatever we needed we just asked for it and the receptionist made it happen. Affordable and close to Luray. Small hotel and affordable
It was as good as any of the hotels I have stayed at in Harrisonburg and much less expensive. It was quiet inside the hotel and clean. It's in a busy area which I did not like but most hotels are.

The motel was clean & staff were friendly. No bedbugs :). Nothing fancy, but serves its purpose
Was looking for a place to sleep & shower.
Room was clean.
Needs new electrical outlets & refrigerator was not the cleanest but we didn't have any use for it anyway.
I'll stay here again
Great stay. Only disappointed in Breakfast. No fruit. Only toast, cereal and hunny buns. Coffee and tea. Every else great. Friendly and courteous staff

Staff was nice and helpful. Wish the JMU Family weekend price gauging was under control. A room that is typically $178 per night for Friday and Saturday, was $499 a night for Friday and Saturday. I can understand it being a little more expensive, but this is ridiculous. That hotel is not a $499 per night hotel.
The property was conveniently located off of 81..
The property needs maintenance in each room. The appearance and smell of the property as you entered the lobby and each floor was little to be desired. Sinks wouldn't drain, wall fixtures ripped off wall, holes in drywall, hair in sheets on bed, overall glad we could get out of there after a short 5 hour sleep...
The location was perfect for our trip and convienent to restaurants and gas. The room was clean and modern (except the bathtub was “peeling” and the bed sunk in the middle. We had to walk up to the 3rd floor (6 flights of steps) due to no elevator which is difficult for us with back issues amd luggage.
All in all it was quiet relaxing night
