The tavern was closed and we usually like a place that has a bar and restaurant after a long day driving, so definitely disappointed. We went next door to Tully’s for an affordable dinner, drinks, and excellent service. Highly recommend even though the front desk gentleman said he wouldn’t recommend. He failed to notify us of the hotel’s tavern being closed. So we walked next door to try for ourselves. "

"Plenty of available parking at the Inn. Very clean, well-kept bedroom and bath. The restaurant and bar were well staffed, and the food was very good. I would have given 5 stars for amenities, but the restaurant is not open for breakfast. However, muffins and bottled juice, water and coffee were on trays in the bedroom. A very nice feature. I'll definitely go back.!"

"If I could, I would give this hotel zero stars. The check-in process took forever. Breakfast was practically nonexistent — people stood in a long line for omelets, and there wasn’t even enough for everyone. With only one waiter on the floor, getting coffee or a refill was nearly impossible. If a hotel advertises breakfast included, it’s reasonable to expect a decent meal. To make matters worse, a month later the hotel called demanding an extra $22 “hotel charge,” even though everything had already been prepaid online. Be aware of hidden charges if you stay at Anthracite Hotel."
