Excellent oceanfront view and beach, rooms are clean, staff is helpful, kids saw eagles, halibut fishing and horse, overall recommend the location and stay, we will return again! Thanks
The staff were so helpful when getting to the property and checking in. We also got some great recommendations and help locating some other things in the area. The beach in front of the property is beautiful. There was a good grab and go style breakfast. Beds were very comfortable.
Out of the way. Initial room was moldy. We changed rooms and new room (with balcony) was great. Staff person was very helpful and responsive.

The lodge is right on the ocean and has a great view. There is a substantial amount of dirt work being done right now which made us wonder if we were in the right spot when trying to locate it. However, the lodge has a nice deck with chairs which were a great vantage point to enjoy the ocean. The owner was on site and offered use of a side by side to take down the beach to a waterfall near by. There is a continental breakfast on site daily.
Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin making falling asleep before the last person in the building turned off the tv difficult. Finally, the drinking water smelled very strongly of chlorine and we suspect was the cause of our GI distress during our stay. If you do stay there, be sure to only drink the bottled water that they keep on hand.
Some how I ended up with this room, with a balcony. I never planned on this, I purchased a pair of Cl companion 8x30 binoculars to take somewhere and I ended up here, with a balcony, overlooking Kachemak Bay. They shared how they kept up the grounds for “US” I realized what water I use, goes 20 yards. It’s a fishing lodge. That’s before you fish. You’re in a pristine environment that eagles use to hunt. It’s a beautiful and comfortable place however you could possibly see it, as you settle in, and fish.
I’m already making my plans to stay, Alaska is where I’m actually from and this is what I got.
The road in was terrible, the erosion next to the road to the room was scary, would not recommend

The property is older but well located right on the water, so views are wonderful. It is very rustic. The staff was very helpful in getting us situated and available to assist when we needed it. The lodge provides a place to hang out and is where you can make a continental breakfast. It is off the beaten track and you will go down a gravel road and driveway to get to the property. Lots of nice hot water in the shower and good WiFi connection. We saw many eagles camped out on the property and the beach - truly awesome!
