"Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the resort. The staff was generally very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and the atmosphere is definitely a highlight. The parties were amazing, so if you’re looking for a fun, lively vacation, you will absolutely enjoy yourself. The water park was also a great addition and provided plenty of entertainment. The food was good overall, but I would have liked more variety. Many of the same options were offered each day, and I was surprised there weren’t more traditional Jamaican dishes available throughout the stay. One area that could use improvement is customer service when problems arise. While the staff was pleasant during normal interactions, we experienced a noticeable change in responsiveness when we encountered a few serious issues. In those situations, we were advised that the resort could not assist because the concerns involved third-party companies. While I understand that some services may be operated independently, guests should still feel supported by the resort when issues happen during their stay. Overall, it’s a beautiful and entertaining resort with a lot to offer, especially for travelers looking for a fun atmosphere. With more food variety and stronger guest support when concerns arise, the experience could be even better."

"The staff at Couples Negril is amazing. The resort itself is very nice, getting a bit out dated for the times. Couples Negril is definitely a very relaxed atmosphere, I don't recommend if you are looking for a party atmosphere. The resort is basically silent after 10pm. Amenities and activities are plentiful. The workout gym definitely needs an upgrade as the equipment looks like it is from the 80's. Also the ceiling leaks terribly. Food was good. Bar staff was great. In all had a great chilled, relaxing vacation!!"

"Changing to Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton was the best choice I could have made! I went there for my 1st ever solo birthday vacation. They will forever be my go to resort every time I go to Jamaica. They were absolutely amazing in every area you could possibly think of. There were a some small repairs that need to be made but not enough for me to fuss or change rooms. My room was clean, beautiful, and a nice size. I loved the little tropical garden area outside the room. My villa area was super quiet. Ms. Colleen, the concierge was such a beautiful young lady and very helpful with making my dinner reservations and anything I needed help with. Ms. Opal did a great job of keeping the room clean. I lost my beats earbud 3 times. The 1st time I lost it, security was helping me look for it at 4am because that’s when I realized I lost it. All 3 times they were turned in to the JA side of the resort. My favorite two places were the spa and the sports bar. Elisa at the sports bar, James at the spa, Ana Kay at the travel club just to name a few are some of my favorite people. I didn’t eat a lot but what I did have was good. The oxtail from the Jamaican restaurant was my favorite meal. There are a ton of options for food, I’m sure one will find something they like. The night life was just enough for me, not too much not too little. With this being a family resort, I still found the peace, rest, and relaxation I went for. Hotel Riu Palace Tropical Bay - All Inclusive

"The resort is fantastic. The beaches are pristine. The quality of the food at the buffet what’s above average but the breakfast buffet was basically eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. Fruits and juices were also available. The specialty restaurants were a hit and miss. The steak restaurant was fantastic, but because of low occupancy on the second week, the resort decided to shut down the steakhouse four nights a week. Access was limited. The Italian restaurant was terrible. Would not recommend. Never tried any of the other restaurants most were not open. House cleaning staff were amazing. we will return, but will definitely check ahead of time to make sure that the specialty restaurants will be open and accessible during our next visit. Our transportation to and from the airport through Jamaica tours booked with Expedia was on time as promised. No surprises."

"Transpo to & from the airport: free and easy. Check-in: easy and quick. Our butler (Romaine) did not disappoint, and took care of anything we asked for: reservations for dinners and activities, reserving beach chairs, escorting us to meals and activities, bringing us breakfast in bed every morning, leaving snacks and treats in the room for us, making sure we always had a drink in our hands and a smile on our faces! The grounds are clean and beautiful, the food is good and plentiful with a nice variety, the staff were all super helpful and friendly, and the sunsets are amazing! The No Tipping Policy was really nice (tipping: only allowed in very limited circumstances, and never expected). The room: spacious and quiet, with a big comfy bed, doors that closed across the balcony to keep the sunlight out when you wanted to sleep, the mini-fridge was stocked daily, and we were not bothered when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. The pools and hot tubs: clean, and dry towels were always available. The ocean and beach: beautiful, clear water, clean sand, and no seaweed! You can walk the 7 Mile Beach directly from the resort, if you want a nice walk or if you want to interact with locals or vendors that sell various items (no pushiness if you don’t want to buy). The fitness center: spacious and had everything we needed for a good workout. The spa: amazing massages! Overall, a nice mix of fun/party and quiet relaxation, and just a GREAT vacation from start to finish!"
