this hotel is very cheap. and has nice clerk.
not expensive to exchange my money and easy to find location.
even they call a cab for me. i appreciated it.
but if you want more comfort, you had better found another hotel.
too noisy to sleep. there was nothing preventing me from motor bike horn.
if you stay the room near road side, you will have experienced a hell of noise.
i should have avoided oldtown.
This place is awful. The rooms are nothing like the pictures, no elevators, so walking 6 flights of stairs with a fully laden suitcase was just the beginning.
never again

Not very accommodating
We were misinformed about the 2nd building no elevator, no WiFi until several hours with Orbitz rep.
While we booked a double bed, this hotel overbooked our room and tried to stick us in a dorm room with thin mattreses. We expressed concern and the owner didn't see his fault. he thought he was doing us a favor by putting us in a more expensive room (that would normally first 4 backpackers). In his rant, he blamed everyone but himself and even told us good luck finding a room on the weekend (it was a Thursday). We said that his customer service was very poor and we will likely leave a bad review, to which he yelled that he didn't care. The dorm room wasn't even featured in the images on hotels.com
Booked in and looked at room then booked out! The reception told me I had to pay to use the fridge . The aircon didn't work and it was just plain grotty for the price, cheaper and nicer else where.
Good location. Able to walk to a lot of the Old Quarters with little effort. The hotel safe was helpful and friendly. They do have a lot of stairs and we were on the 5th floor which is not a problem, but be prepared to start climbing. The staff was attentive and breakfast was great. Would recommend to anyone who wants the local experience.

Great location
Good location that is easy to walk around Hanoi. Be prepared to walk some stairs because they have five levels. Helpful and friendly staff.

Bon emplacement

Weinig service in verder ok hotel
Men wilde ons zo gauw mogelijk iets verkopen.

Good place for a budget stay
For the (discounted) price I've paid, the facilities was adequate. The room was just basic, but clean, had windows looking to the nearby rooftops. Breakfast is simple (bread, fried eggs or pancake, tea/coffee) and is cooked on order. The hotel is located next street to the Hoan Kiem lake, an adequate distance away from the Ta Hien nightlife (no noise and touts, yet still an easy walking distance if you feel inclined to go there). If you walk to the left (east) when going out, the area is more "local" and the restaurants/streetfood are good value for money. There's no lift, but this is true for most Hanoi hotels of this price range.
