Check in was a breeze. I had booked on hotels.com so everything was pre-paid. They took copies of our passports and no credit card was required for incidentals.
This is a great location in the Old Quarter. Be aware, it’s on a busy street so you’ll hear honking all through the day and a bit at night.
Bed was very comfy and I love all the extra pillows. Bathroom was decent although it did run out of hot water fast so take quick showers. The floors are wooden instead of carpet and they provide rubber slippers but I didn’t want to use them. WiFi speed - pretty fast and there is a safe to keep your valuables.
They offer complimentary water and coffee above the refrigerator, amenities such as shampoo, shower gel and lotion.
This hotel isn’t super fancy but for the price, it was a great deal. Walls are pretty thin so you can hear the neighbors.
Large breakfast buffet - had a variety of foods from traditional American to Vietnamese such as egg rolls, pho and noodles!
My only complaint is that after coming back from Halong Bay tour, we were hungry and walked into the restaurant at 9:30. The restaurant closes at 10pm. They told us they were closed - pretty sure they were just being lazy.
