The breakfast was very good with good variety of western and Asian options. The location of the hotel is excellent … very close to night market, restaurants and retail. My key objections:
(1) I arrived around 11am. Even though the hotel had rooms available for my immediate checkin, the hotel staff insisted not to check us in unless we paid an extra fee. We left our luggage in the lobby and went out for lunch instead. Not the most accommodating staff and management.
(2) most rooms in this hotel have no windows. They called them interior windows which basically open into a dead area. If you are not claustrophobic, then I guess it’s ok. Personally we prefer windows so we can get some fresh air.
Excellent location for visiting local hotspots such as puppet theatre and lake nearby , the hustle of old market yet join st far away for the peace
Clan comfortable rooms and attentive staff.

Disliked: Amenities
Dyrt hotell for hva du får. Sparsom frokost. Ville kanskje bodd et annet sted for denne prisen. Ellers ok
The hotel location is good, room is small but clean and nice and quiet. The staffs were ok not as friendly and helpful as other 4-5 stars that I stayed around there.
Breakfast is ok enough options. Overall I don’t think it worth the price that I paid roughly $80-$90/ night.
Loved my stay here, staff were helpful, rooms were lovely, very handy to Hanoi fun

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The room was small and dated, the air conditioner stopped working couple times, but they fixed it, which was nice. The hot water in the shower didn’t last very long, just enough time for one person to take a shower . The Wi-Fi was hit and miss. The breakfast were really good, they had a good cook and waitress.
The staff were very nice and helpful with many things, but they seem to wanna overcharge on site seeing tours, so be careful of that!
The front desk staff are exceptional!!
They go above and beyond at every opportunity possible. They created such a warm and inviting space and consistently helped us throughout our stay.
100/10!! I can’t rate them high enough!
Don’t hesitate to stay here. It’s fabulous!
Loved the traditional style of the building; Tall and narrow. Staff were excellent with good English which was helpful as my Vietnamese is terrible. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was very good. Lots of good shopping, restaurants and other tourist attractions in the vicinity.
Fantastic location in the Old Quarter, Excellent service, able to have a late checkout for a small fee. Good choice for breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.
We loved the location of the Hotel. Very modern and clean. It was very close to all the old quarter tourist attractions. The staff was very nice, kind, and very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave us all a list of all best places and a map of all the attractions that we walked to and visited. Thank you! 🙏
Small room and uncomfort at all.
No window!! Therfore no air circulation in the room. Bad!
Mattresses not comfort, very used and old.
Nice and welcoming stuff. Breakfast was o.k not more than that.
I stayed at Lavender Central Hotel in the Old Quarter and had an incredible experience. The location is perfect—right near the bars, and the main street food spots, making it easy to explore the local cuisine & the nightlife in Hanoi. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. They have a delicious coffee. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite being in the lively Old Quarter, the hotel has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, never feeling overwhelming. Overall, I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.
Very helpful staff and a quick check-in.
Room was a bit worn but clean with good beds. “Internal window” is for good and for bad. Not disturbed by the intense traffic outside but a bit boring. If you just are in your room for sleep it’s no problem.
This hotel was very wonderful to be in and with its location in the midst of the Old Quarter was a win win for me. Their staff was very wonderful and very helpful. they helped us out with day time activities and any other questions we had. The rooms was very clean as well, a bit small for my taste but it had a very comfy feel so It made me feel relaxed. I would definitely love to come back here again.
