This hotel is smack bang in the centre of the Old District so it's super convenient for visiting the city. It's very good value for money and the breakfasts are really tasty. It's not quiet though. Because it's in the bustling city centre it is quite noisy, but just bring some headphones and you'll be fine. It'll be worth it to be so close to all the action. We hired a scooter with the hotel which was easy and affordable! We also ordered a pick up from the airport through them which worked well. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were soooo friendly and kind and the location is unbeatable if you want the city vibe!!

The hotel is clean, located in the old quarter near restaurants and shopping. Best part about it is the polite and efficient staff. Nikki helped us plan and book all out excursions. Highly recommended.

Pretty good spot central of everything in the old quarter. Honestly had a great time here, call ahead before you arrive and askt them to turn on the air conditioning if you are going in the summer though

Lovely little hotel down a quiet alley way, steps from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Staff were very kind and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable- breakfast was a little uninspiring but certainly good enough.

peaceful oasis in the heart of action central
Despite being perfectly located close to the lake and the busiest area of the old quarter it is situated down a side lane meaning none of the incessant beep-beep from the roads during the night.This hotel is the perfect balance of all the comforts without the high price tag.  The room was a good size, air con worked well, the fridge has a small freezer section and the bathroom had a separate shower that contained the water.  Toiletries provided included pump packs of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Breakfast was a selection from a menu (eg bacon/eggs. noodle soup, pancakes) and self serve brown and white baguettes.  The staff and manager were endlessly friendly and helpful creating a very pleasant atmosphere in the hotel.  I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Despite the look, this is a great place to stay in the old quarter. Very close to everything. Every weekend the old quarter turns into a pedestrian only streets and loud music. The good thing about this place is it’s tucked into a little lane off the Main Street. Once you are in there, you hardly hear anything. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

La Beaute de Hanoi is ideally located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, near Hoan Kiem Lake. It's down a little lane off Dien Liet, a bustling shopping street. Nancy, who works at the front desk, advised me in excellent English about the hotel, breakfast, ATMs, shopping, etc. My room had a balcony, as requested, and was quiet and clean. My breakfast order the second morning was lost, but eventually I got delicious French toast. Front desk staff were uniformly cordial, looked after my luggage on checkout day, and walked me to taxis. There is an elevator, so you don't have to lug your luggage upstairs.

Our reception upon arrival was excellent. Aubrey gave us a superb introduction to the delights of the old quarter of Hanoi. David the Manager is helpful and friendly. Mai is friendly and very helpful at breakfast. This must be one of the best value for money hotels in the old quarter.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. Just 2 blocks to the lake and within Old Hanoi where you will want to be. You might have trouble finding it at first, but once there it is easy to find your way around. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and quality in busiest part of town
La Beaute de Hanoi was a great place to stay while exploring the city of Hanoi. It’s location right in the middle of the old quarter makes walking around super easy, however it cannot be accessed by car as it is in a small alley, but with notice the hotel staff will meet your transport to assist with luggage and bring you the 100 feet or so to the hotel. The room was clean, the hotel itself is compact (by necessity as it is in the busiest part of town) with narrow staircases and hallways and a small elevator. Comfort did not suffer, however, and we were very pleased with our stay, which included breakfast, though there were so many foods we wanted to try in Hanoi that we opted to skip the hotel breakfast one of the days! The staff was very helpful in setting up transportation to/from the airport and our previously arranged transport to our cruise in ha long bay went seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Nice location but poor view
Not as advertised with view and room condition. Paid for room with balcony but it opened to an alley and the view was another hotel room with guest staring right back at us. The doors to balcony were not glass or French but wood. We had to keep doors shut entire time we were there so we weren’t on display to others. Other than that, the toilet and shower leaked and the WiFi was very poor - to the point we just gave up on trying to use it during our stay. Upside is that the staff was very nice and friendly and the breakfast options and service was very good.

Great place to stay if you are in Hanoi. We were greeted by Martin who shared a delicious glass of fresh squeezed juice with us. This was just the beginning of the amazing hospitality showed to us by this establishment. Clean, quiet and friendly. We walked in having just spent several days in Sapa and handed them our laundry and it was quickly returned in perfect order. Would totally stay here again.

La Beauté is a gem inside the Old Quater. It sits on a quiet street steps from all the good places the Old Quater has to offer. David, the Manager, is keen on the details, from the delicious welcoming drinks, to the recommendations and amazingly decorated rooms. Furthermore, David organized my transport from the airport to the hotel at a favorable price.
