Stayed in 3 different hotels in Hanoi and happy to say this hotel is the best! Friendly customer service, welcome drink on arrival and got nice little hamper too:) Breakfast buffet was nice and good variety for a small hotel, well done!

Stayed for 4 nights at Ken Hotel. Since we had made a request in advance we were allowed an early checkin around 10 am without extra charges. Even though the property has a lift, the reception is located at the 1st floor so be prepared to climb every time you enter and leave. A very central location near Hoan Kiem lake making it walkable to all the places of tourist interest. The Beer Street and the eating areas are all walkable. Just the location makes the property 5 star - the breakfast is sumptuous and the staff courteous - would rec the hotel to all travelers looking for Value for Money

Passionate staff but showing it’s age a bit
Staff were lovely, attentive and accessible. Room’s walls could do with some washing in the bedroom. Not sure if it’s that the stone in the washroom needs to be resealed or just cleaned more often but there was a white film in places. Floor by the bathroom in bedroom could use a fix but it was safe to walk on. The room was a little loud from hallway/other room noise. A tv guide re: channels would be a nice addition.
