Was a close walk to all cafes/restaurants and Hanmer Springs Pools. Free towels to use for the pools. What we didn't like was the unclean tired room. Needs a major revamp. Pictures on website do not reflect the current state of the property ie must be using past photos from when it first opened? Toaster had not been cleaned. Dirty marks on walls in bathroom. Fan with dead insect hanging. Dust on all ledges/shelving. Grubby in corners in bathroom floor area. Shower door not cleaned properly. Ripped sheer curtain in bedroom. Still also find it hard to understand that there was no source of soap for hand washing. Told to use the shower & bath gel. Stained bedding. Toilet cistern hard to flush the 3 p's down. We Didn't approach the owner, as she seemed to be working on her own. She did say there was no room service available also.
