"The couple who run this homestay are so nice and accommodating. They greeted us right as we stepped out of the van and helped with our luggage. He communicated with us via translator. There are bike to use for free and they make a wonderful breakfast of your choice daily. Anything we needed they were willing to help. We really enjoyed our stay here and definitely would stay with them again. They also have some very friendly kitties. "

"Beautiful location! The approach through rice paddies, palm trees and striking limestone karsts is memorable. The layout of the property is also nice, with a winding pathway to the rooms. My room was spacious and I heard no noise from other guests. The interior was a little dated, but fully functional. Staff was great, from check in to the individually prepared breakfasts, handling my laundry request, getting me going with a bicycle, and booking a full day excursion."

You get a big bowl of fresh fruit with your breakfast, which was awesime. We did laundry there twice and they took care of it all for us. They were very accommodating when I showed up earlier than expected when I was supposed to show up at 6am coming off a sleeper bus from Hanoi, but instead took a tour the day before that dropped me off in Tam Coc at 9pm (I paid for the entire night just so I wouldn't have to wait to check in)."

About 10-15 minutes from Tam Coc, Hoa Lu old town, Trang An boat ride and Mua caves. My husband and I both got massages at their spa during our stay, and they were one of the best we had in all of Vietnam. ChezCao is such a gem and I highly recommend this place for your stay in Ninh Binh! "

"The stay was exceptional. I’ve never seen natural beauty like this in my life. I truly enjoyed the hotel and Ninh Binh and cannot wait to be back. The only recommendation I have is the service was on the slow side. While at the poolside, we’d order food and drinks and it sometimes took up to 30-35 mins to have the items delivered.., same for dinner. Other than that everything was great"

Rooms, facilities and service were adequate. The home stay is located on a small road, so cars and buses cannot access. Every tour or p/u and drop off with grab had to stop on the main road because the roads there are narrow. I had to deduct one star due to coordination with the owners.
