Farmstay in Hancock County

"Prepaid for the hotel room. Parking was safe and easy. Check in and check out staff was excellent. Apparently there was a snafu- the room we had reserved had not been cleaned yet- it was close to 7pm when we arrived. A matched room was found for us, and we were gifted two ‘snacks’ of our choice, and went to our room. Everything seemed fine at a first glance. A/C was fine, no issues, sheets and comforter appeared clean and were comfortable. Bed was NOT comfortable at ALL. Very thin mattress, could feel the springs and the bed itself was incredibly hard. Rough night of sleep. Shower had hairs in it on the wall from I assume most recent guests. Bathroom sink had longer hair in the drain cover. Fridge motor was loud all night but seems to work fine. There was what appeared to be nasal mucous wiped on the wall between the tv and the table. Windowsill had several small dead bugs and a live spider in the curtain. (Also small) Didn’t chance breakfast. "

"Steep stairs. Door has a super big gap under it & threshold. Had to roll up a blanket & block it. Other than that - it was comfortable & met our needs. Thank you! "

"We booked a room over a week in advance and when we arrived they had already booked our room and instead of the king suite with hot tub we were put in a double queen room. Overall a terrible experience."

"I was on my way south and found this property. Very pleased with the staff who helped me with a problem with my reservation through Hotels.com. They went above and beyond. Then the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The next day it was a nice hot breakfast. Then on my way to the next stop. Thank You!!"
