My husband and I stayed with Phoebe at the B & B at Mallard Bay while attending a family reunion in Hampstead. It was a short visit, and only after we arrived did we wish it could have been longer. Phoebe is an excellent host, and her accommodations are clean and comfortable. She has assembled numerous suggestions and directions for day trips around the area, and enjoys visiting with guests about Wilmington, Topsail Beach and Hampstead. The location of her property is lovely, and perfect for sitting out in the morning and end of day, watching sun rises and sunsets as you look out over the inter coastal waterway. We can't wait to go back, and stay longer next time! Katie & John Ross

Phoebe was very helpful when we had to change our plans due to Hurricane Dorian. Excellent breakfasts including the blueberry pancakes and we were made to feel at home. Good local information provided.

Carolina Coastal Paradise
We had a wonderful time. Owner is delightful and full of information. Property is directly on the inter coastal water way and great for kayaking. Close to beach and downtown Wilmington.

It was on a quiet dead end street very little traffic. Host was very nice we had some good conversations. Will go back again.

First and best time at a Bed and Breakfast
The owner that we stayed with was both helpful and friendly. She made us feel right at home and was very good at giving local recommendations for things we wanted to see/do. The house was beautiful and had lots of activities if we did not want to leave. Although sharing the place we had our own restroom, bedroom and sitting room. It was wonderful.

A perfect coastal get-away
We enjoyed the lovely setting and very comfortable suite. Phoebe is a perfect hostess. The kayaking along the intracoastal was very special. A birder's paradise too.
