This property is undergoing a major renovation. The restaurant and bar were closed as a result of this which wasn't disclosed in the Expedia ad.

We stayed here with our family for our daughters baskeball weekend. My girls had so much fun in the pool which did not have a strong chlorine smell that most hotels have. The grounds were beautiful and nice to walk and my husband and i enjoyed sitting on the balcony having our morning coffee while our girls slept soundly. Would recommend this place and stay here again

Owners are in the midst of updating. We were a quick overnight stay. Quiet and comfortable. Bathroom could use new kaulking. Overall a good stay.

Overall a very good experience. The only thing was that the dining was off due to renovations (but they clearly caveated that before booking so at least it was fair). Otherwise, they'd be deserving of a perfect score

There was construction and the hot water tank was down, they offered a refund, but I needed a place for the night so stayed anyway. It was a nice room, clean and sufficient for my needs.

They are under construction and renovating the entire restaurant and other rooms, and we knew that before booking so we brought our own breakfast. What we didn't like was the fact that there was no ice machine or ice available anywhere in the entire hotel. There was no microwave in the room to heat up food that had to be brought in. The hallway had old lights and plaster on the floor due to construction but it was a tripping hazard and eyesore so should have been dealt with before guests walked those halls. We will be back when it is all complete because we have enjoyed our stays at the hotel in the past and look forward to it being back in pristine condition soon.

Convenient location right off of the highway. The hotel has been under renovations for quite some time now after reading other reviews. The large suite I rented was newly renovated and had a great lake view. The rest of the hotel was in not so great condition and seemed to lack security at night time. Could hear banging and doors closing throughout the night so we had to leave the tv on. Pool and restaurant were closed due to renovations so there were really no amenities to comment on. I believe once the renovations are complete this could be a decent place to stay.

I was travelling with my dog. I was very impressed that there was no carpet in the room. No pet odours in the room! The room was modern and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

The room is newly renovated and looks over lake Ontario. The new beds was amaizing. The highway right next to the hotel is no problem with noise. Rooms are not facing the highway. Because of revovations pool is closed. Found out when we arrived. But it really needed renovating. And restaraunt also under renovation. The 2 reasons we stayed here and not Niagara Falls. Disapointed yes, but also excited to see the hotel next year when we come back. Look forward to our next stay. Good Job!! Oh and staff here are so helpful and happy.

This hotel is lovely with a beautiful view of the falls, we got upgraded to a very nice suite due to the pool and restaurant being closed for construction. Only inconvenience is there is nothing around this location, no convenience store or restaurant in walking distance (there is one attached to hotel but it was closed). This did not effect our stay just come prepared so you won’t have to drive into town for something. We will definitely be booking here again! the rates are reasonable for being a hotel on a lake, on clear days you can see Toronto!

The hotel is in a perfect location. Right on lake ontario. They hotel is in renovations nonetheless, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. This hotel will be a hotspot once renovations are over.

I booked my room through expedia.com. Those guys charged me money right at the beginning. By the end of the stay i had to extend a few more hours which they said they’ll charge me for the extra hours which i agreed. Came home and the next day a lady from the hotel called me saying that they have the wrong card on my profile need the other card no. Later i saw a charge of an x amount. Such a pathetic service. What a scam! Never going again and will never recommend this particular one to anyone else.

The hotel room was clean. Bedding was fresh. The room was cold and there was no heat control. They were very accommodating for us as we brought our dog. We had a ground room with patio door out the back which was perfect. The hotel was quiet which was nice as we had to go to bed early for an early morning rise. I would definitely stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Beautiful area right on the lake rented two ooms for myself and my guy i work with. Didnt find out till we signed i that the pool hot tub and restaurant were all closed due to renovations. As well there was mold on the walls in the bathroom. When i contacted manager never answerdd or returned call. When we went back second night the lovely lady at the desk offered to move us to the other side of the hotel where the newly renovated rooms were which was fabtastic. Other then the fat that we had to travel back over to the otherside of the hotel to get i e and up a flight of stairs. Im sure it will be nice when its done but i will not going back.

Hotel needs a makeover
We stayed in the hotel on Christmas day. The view of the lake was lovely and check-in was smooth. On the opposite side, however, the hotel is right on a major highway. There was a big brunch going on when we arrived, which we hoped to have on Boxing Day when we were checking out, but were told there would be no restaurant open until 4pm, not even for a coffee. The room was a bit threadbare and run down with a tiny bathroom that you could barely turn around in. The bed was comfortable and there was a half-decent sofa. The heating unit was loud and would go on and off intermittently in the night, waking us up, and the heating unit on the outside (outdoors) was missing a faceplate, so the copper and other workings were exposed and held together by a plastic twist tie. I went out for a walk, but there is no boardwalk or pathway by the lake, the marina is quite industrial feeling. The worst part was that we found a pair of female black undies on the desk chair when we pulled it out to sit down. Even the view could not make up for that. The hotel needs a makeover inside and out.

Nice clean, but a bit noisy
The hotel was clean, plenty of parking, nice to have attached restaurant/bar, and everything in the room worked fine. It is however quite dated. The one negative things is that the walls are paper thin and hence you hear all noises from adjoining rooms.
