LOVED our stay in the log cabin. Would buy it and move in tomorrow if we could!! Everything was excellent and the hosts were super accommodating with our late arrival and communication was great. We’re going to make it an annual trip!

Relaxing and tranquil
Just a great place to stay at. So relaxing and peaceful. Enjoyed the wildlife around. Kangaroos, birds, chickens, horses etc. The place was clean and comfortable. The people that own the property are so lovely. We will be back!

Serenity!
Stayed in the log cabin, very comfortable, amazing location, a wildlife paradise with kangaroos, wombats and emu. Next to the zoo, so we had the bonus of seeing the giraffes in the morning! So peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by lovely walking tracks. Great spot to visit the local wineries also. Fully fitted kitchen, they supply coffee,and tea, just bring your food, or lots of local eateries nearby. Wood is also supplied for the fire and there is also a bbq area. Hope to return one day!

Wonderful setting with great access to hikes and other activities. Great shared outdoor cooking facilities with excellent views for evening. BBQ. The owner was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Our kiddies loved the mudbrick house, said it was the highlight of their holiday! Loved the chickens, kangaroos being so close to us and hearing the monkeys and dingos at the zoo in the morning. Great distance from the zoo, and very family friendly. Cant wait to go back!!

We had a 2 night stay in the Stone Cottage which was just perfect. It was very relaxing and so cozy with the wood fire. Very spacious accommodation in a truly beautiful setting overlooking the Grampians mountain range. Aidan the proprietor was very welcoming and hospitable, and ensured our stay was comfortable. We certainly look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved our 2 nights stay in one of their cottages ! The place is very relaxing lots of animals to see and very close to the zoo our little boy is very happy . I cannot find any fault in this place even the door knob is up high where kids cannot reach . We will definitely be coming back in the future ❤

Wow - charming cottage with open log fire (already prepared - just light it using the matches provided). Very cosy. Kangaroos outside, emus down the drive and flocks of white cockatoos and other birds all around. Stayed one night on way from Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, Wish we could have stayed longer

Pioneer Cottages in the Grampians
Wonderful experience at this cottage. It is located a little way out of town and the cottage is rustic but clean with everything you would need including internet service. The real value of the experience is the wildlife around the cottage. There are so many kangaroos around the cottage moving back and forwards to feed as the day progresses along with many types of birds.

Gorgeous location
My husband and I stayed two nights in the log cabin. The manager was friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat in Halls Gap. The cabin was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with all you would need to cook. The best part is all of the animals that come out at dusk and dawn - kangaroos, emus, rabbits, and parrots galore. I loved sitting out on the porch with a cup of coffee or wine and watching the animals.

Awesome cottage property
The cottages are just outside Halls Gap (~10 mins) on a magnificent property with breathtaking views of the grampians and filled with natural plants and animals. Kangaroos hopping by, cockatoos in the trees, chickens at the door. This was by far my favourite place on our recent Great Ocean road/South Victoria trip. Our cottage was super comfy, roomy and clean. I would go back to Victoria and the Grampians again just to stay here.

A magical and memorable place
We stayed in the stone cottage for two nights and the location/experience were amazing. If you want to see stars like never before, kangaroos and other wildlife (including sights and sounds from the adjoining zoo) then look no further. Wifi is available by sitting outside reception building only ( not a problem to us ), shared covered bbq available but a few more kitchen utensils in the cottage would not go amiss.

Great Time
We arrived late from Melbourne, but that was no problem to the friendly receptionist. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the experience. Awesome view and we'll come back another day.

Good views, the cottage has lots of character.

Beautiful cottage.
We stayed in the mud brick cottage, we loved it was nice to have a open fire, they were very clean and tidy the chooks were awesome and fun t was great to see the kangaroos in the morning . It was just a magical place will be heading back again .

We had 4 fantastic nights at the Pioneer cottages - just out of town and very peaceful amidst the kangaroos and friendly chickens (thanks for the eggs!) with distant views of the giraffes.

Serene & tranquil country escape
A wonderful place to stay! Loved the open fire in the mud brick cottage. My bed was comfy although my dads was not. Great sized kitchen & lounge. Enjoyed the waterfall shower head in shower. Heaps of blankets provided although no range of teas and the couches are not comfy-these really need to be updated. Beautiful rustic charm though needs a few more decor items to make it feel more special & homely. loved seeing the kangaroos so close every morning & the chickens had personality plus!

Bush getaway
Stayed two nights in the Redbrick cottage with my wide and kids and my sister's family (total of 4 adults and 3 kids). Our visit was in the middle of winter. We enjoyed the open fire each evening. The cottage also has a heating/AC unit that keeps you warm when the fire dies down. This is the prefect spot for a quiet getaway in rustic comfort. Dozens of wild kangaroos and emus in the surrounding paddocks. Great views of the Grampians to the west and the Black Range and Ararat Hills to the east. Don't expect wifi or chocolates on the pillow, this is a bush getaway. The kids loved collecting fresh eggs from the chicken coop and the bush walk with kangaroos, red necked wallabies and an echidna.

周邊有許多野生動物，另外房內有火爐晚上溫暖許多，房間很大，很適合一群朋友或家庭一起居住。房內許多東西可以使用，也可以在房內自己煮飯開火，很方便。唯一缺點就是洗衣機有點異常。

Hi Willie, thank you for your excellent review. Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed all the conveniences in the cottage and we are certainly set up for hosting large groups or families. Also the open fire place is great on a cold evening. Cheers Aidan & Corinne
