Ngaire and Paul have crafted an outstanding little oasis. The self-contained studio cottages are warm and comfortable, and the small kitchenette with the induction stovetop also makes them practical for the budget-conscious. The pond and garden in the centre of the property attracts the local mob of kangaroos and a wide range of native birds, some of which come right up to your door.
The cottages are within walking distance of the main strip in Halls Gap, giving you easy access to local attractions like the Brambuk Cultural Centre and the Paper Scissors Rock Brewery. For the bushwalkers, several hiking tracks leading into the Wonderlands range of Gariwerd/Grampians National Park are close by, including popular spots like Lake Bellfield, Boroka Peak Lookout and the Pinnacles. The latter is even visible from the studios (hint: it's the ridge with the guard rail!)
I'll definitely be staying here the next time, and I'd definitely recommend you do the same.
