"The room was very average at best. Old, tired and looked like it hadn't seen a bit of maintenance for years. The pictures on the web site must have been taken with filters because they didn't show the stains in the carpet or the absolute filth of the bathroom.
There was so much mould in the shower, and on the ceiling above it, that I don't think it has been cleaned for over 2 years.
Bed was uncomfortable and all the bedding
should have been replaced years ago, along with all the rest of the furniture in the room.
The outside appearance of the place is pretty poor, with not one bit of pride taken in what people would think when they arrive. You are greeted in the entrance by a metre or so plant in a pot that looks like it has been dead for a year or so. The grass is overgrown and the paved areas have more weeds than pavers.
Unfortunately I couldn't ever bring myself to recommend this place to anyone."
"Oue stay of 5 nights was excellent. Cottage was comfy, wirh a good bed. We had a 2 bedroom cottage for just 2 of us, which gave us space for luggage, and increased living space. Washing machine and dryer were great to have. Shower was nice and hot. Cooking facilities were pretty good. Used microwave and gas oven. Good sized fridge. Air con heated Cottage and wall heaters in bedrooms, and electric blankets if required. Thick doona. Quiet setting, with only 6 cottages on site. Short drive to restaurants, supermarket and walks."
"This was great family accomodation once, the new management seem to be running this place into the ground. While it's an older property, we found it to be over priced, dirty and disappointing. Staff just don't seem to care about customer service or maintaining any kind of standard you would expect in a $200+ per night room in Victoria, Australia."
"I liked this place. It was perfect for us. The 2 bedroom cabin was simple but nice. Loved the location. Loved all the wildlife outside our cabin. The staff were terrific. Would definitely stay here again."
"Only one thing. The shower outlet was leaking and could not be turned off completely. When we first used it there was a lot of effort required to turn it on, suggest replacing the spindles as well as the washers. These taps were turned off so tightly the spindles would have to have been damaged."
