"My dad and siblings spent 5 nights at this property in early June. The rooms were adjoining and on the 5th floor. It was very nice. The maid service and cleanliness was great. The beds were comfortable and we even had a respectable view. The bar and restaurant stay open until midnight and the food and drink as well as the servers were excellent. Being on the waterfront and next to the lower deck was super convenient as well as super fun. My dad is in his late 80s and is very critical...

"Room was booked for 4 people with only enough cups towels etc for 2. Our suite was not laid out as we expected from our room confirmation. Best part was the Cannary restruant. Food was delicious. The bar in the main lobby was great. Bartender was excellent with great personality. "

"Good location, very friendly staff, nice courtyard on site for relaxing and getting together. But, no toilet paper rolls but toilet paper squares dispenser instead? Not a guest friendly choice. And the Cabin Cafe across the street has great coffee. "

"Stayed in a business room and had access to the business centre on the 2nd floor. Building is older but everything is in working condition and has elevator access. A/C worked very well, room was clean. Staff were all friendly and I was able to leave my bags before check in time. Good location near bus stops, restaurants, and event centres. I didn't use the connected restaurant but appreciated that there was one for an easy option. "

"We have stayed in several university residences open to the public in the summer season and this one was chosen, in Halifax, because it listed all items provided for our stay including sheets. All university summer services do not provide sheets as parts of supplies. 2 other university accommodations did not provide bedding in their accommodation. Always read the list of items provided!"
