Hakuba Spa Hotels

"Very Nice resort with 3 (different) private Onsen hotspring baths and 1 public. Breakfast and dinner were all ok, the rooms are spacious, but too few closets. There was a lounge with free drinks, coffee, tea and snacks and an entertainment room with darts and pool table. The entertainment room, where many guests want to spend some

time after a long day skiing was however closed from 17-22 when people want to enjoy it. We had dinner once at the resort and it was really good, "

"We have never had such helpful staff member .Romain acted like a tour guide as well as English speaking contact at the hotel.He new about ,lift tickets ,the ski resorts ,rental gear,restaurants,taxis ,clubs and bars,transport to and from Hakuba ,bus time tables ,etc etc . And he did it all with a smile on his face and helped make our holiday a beauty! The hotel has a very good

The staff was incredibly kind and hospitable (helping with suitcases, calling taxis, the private onsen luxurious, and the room well-appointed with thoughtful amenities like a massage chair and bluetooth speakers. The breakfast is a must. I only stayed one night but already felt incredibly refreshed. 10/10 would return."

"We had a good stay at Furuhata, but there were a few inconveniences. The onsen was fantastic—nice and hot, perfect after a long day of skiing. Towels and kimonos were replaced daily, which was a great touch, and beds were made every two days. The price was reasonable, and the shuttle to the ski resort was convenient. However, there was no shuttle into town, bus station or train station and taxi options were nonexistent, which made getting around a bit tricky. There were only a few restaurants...

"the man running the place is just lovely. he spoke the best english of anyone we met while in japan for two weeks and was super friendly. every morning the breakfast was a little different, he drove us to the bus station at the end of our trip, and he was always available for questions and advice. the private onsen (

) was excellent after a day on the slopes and all in all it had a more bed and breakfast vibe. it’s a 10 minute walk to echoland (restaurants) and a 20 minute bus ride to...
