The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. "Excellent stay! I stayed here many times when the property was Emblem Flow before changing names. Nothing has really changed. Great staff - very friendly and welcoming. Nice restaurant and bar with a wonderful breakfast. Also appreciated the small onsen area. I highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable stay in Gora."

"I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. "
