The Schumacher is a fantastic hotel, in a beautiful setting (the middle of a small, private park) . . . the staff was super friendly and always helpful . . . a perfect location for seeing the German Colony / downtown areas of Haifa . . . our stay at the Schumacher could not have been better!!

Best Cusomer Service in the world
We had an absolutely fantastic stay and would go as far as to say that it offered the best customer service levels of any hotel we've stayed in around the world. All of the team were extremely friendly, attentive and welcoming creating a truly relaxing urban oasis in a fabulous central location. Our room was stylish and modern with lovely bright windows and we loved the two rooftoops and great views of the Baha'i Gardens. We cannot recommend The Schumacher enough. It is truly special.

Best kept secret in Haifa. Don't tell anyone, but this is really one of the best hotels we stayed in in Israel. A great base to explore Haifa when you're in town

Nice boutique hotel well designed
Nice boutique hotel. Well and comfortable located next to the German colony and the port where the main restaurant and bar scene is. The rooms are small but well maintained, the hotel has a nice rooftop and complimentary coffee in tea in the lobby all day long. We enjoyed our stay! The welcoming and kindness of the receptionist (not sure if she is maybe even the manager) could be better. But we didn’t let that interfere our total experience.

A nice get away
Stayed 2 nights. Will probably stay again. The neighborhood is quiet and you feel safe at night. Parking is free and available at all times. Nice views from the terraces on the 7th and 4th floors. We chose the suite because it is spacious with a very nice view of the garden at the entrance of the hotel and because I believed the problem with glass door of the bathroom would be minimal at night. I was wrong.

exceeded expectations do not forget to go to the roof with a glass of wine and olives. room was very nice and clean, real chocolate and a gift waited for us. very close to the German colony (ben gurion st). easy parking. Perfect staying

Superbly located within Haifa - pleasant neighborhood, lots of parking, a short walk from the restaurants and 7 minutes drive from the beach. Building & room VERY pleasant, well decorated and impeccably clean, but our 3rd floor room had a slightly dismal view out the window. Lack of on-site dining/breakfast is slight downer, but adequately compensated for by breakfast vouchers at the delightful Stroudl restaurant, nearby.
