"Very quiet location as close to Miho no Matsubara as you can get in a place to stay. Owner of the place, Mrs. Endo, was extremely pleasant and motherly. Accommodations were excellent with Japanese meals for breakfast. Need to take a taxi to get to any other touristy spots and to Shizuoka Shinkansen station (about 40 mins). The beach and the pine tree forest are right there. Very quiet and relaxing. I would stay there again in the future. "

"I cannot say enough good things about this inn. It was everything we imagined. There was a person waiting to greet us when we got there (which, honestly, we had never imagined). The meals -- we had a dinner and a breakfast -- were the best and also the fanciest we had while in Japan, full stop. "Far away from Shibuya, we traveled over 3 hours via public transportation to get here. We arrived at night, and it was a nice adventure with family. My family really enjoyed the stay as it was immersive. There was a lot of detail to dinner and breakfast. We only stayed for 1 night for the morning prayer, which was an experience in itself. "What a great view from the hotel! Free shuttle bus between train station and hotel. Great keiseki dinner and a good selection of buffet breakfast. We had a private onsen in our room, and it was great. You can even set the temperature you want yourself. There is no shops near the hotel, but there is a shop in the hotel itself which sells the basics, so no complaints."
