We returned with badly muddied shoes after a hike of Mt Kilimanjaro and left our shoes on the front porch. "Overall, a nice stay. Beautiful views of Kilimanjaro from rooms. They made an effort to ensure our honeymoon was celebrated. Beds were very uncomfortable though (much too hard). This has been referenced by others. Dinner and breakfast was OK - choice and quality was limited due to everything being taken from the farm. We were shown around the farm and my wife was quite distressed to see the condition of some of the livestock. We mentioned to staff member showing us around and she was quite dismissive saying she was sure someone would have a look at it, but we were not convinced."

"The bathroom was dirty and not cared properly. I had to buy toilet-bowl cleaner to whiten the bowl.Hot water was so-so, either got it too cold or too hot The bathroom was badly done - when you take a shower the water splashes all over where the toilet and sink are. Judging by the poor breakfast , which I had only 4 times in my 2 weeks stay, I never had any meals at the hotel. Around the hotel there are reasonably priced restaurants for a good meal. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful but the hotel need a revamping big time. The air conditioning was okay. There was big gaping tear in one of the curtains which was not very nice. All in all my stay was okay but it could have been better."
