"I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."

"The hotel was a short drive to Moshi, while being far enough away from hustle and bustle. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating- even going so far as to check I was well when I slept in after a long hike at Kilimanjaro. "We arrived for a late check in and staff was there to greet us. That was a very nice touch. Staff were excellent. Room was clean and amenities adequate. We were given a room with the view of Kilimanjaro which was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again. "
