" Beautiful historic building. The common areas and our room were stunning! Breakfast in the morning was great. Make sure to go to the widow’s walk in the evening for a view. "

"The hotel is lovely and well located. Our room was spacious and quiet, with enough drawer space to unpack our things. There was a place on every floor that had coffee, drinks and fruit. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others. "
"The staff was friendly. The room was perfectly clean. It felt like a small European hotel and a welcome change from the uniformity of standard chain lodgings."
"We had a suite room, which was quite large, with a view of the harbor and cruise ship terminal. Everything needed was provided, and more. We were able to extend checkout an extra hour to accommodate a morning tour we had scheduled, which was much appreciated. Also, the hair dryer was one of the best hotel hair dryers I've ever used."
"Beautiful hotel, nice big rooms. Our front desk employee checking us in was great noticed we were right by the elevator and chose to move us to a quieter area which we appreciated. Nice gym area there as well. Only downside is paying for parking. Paying over 300/night-- overnight parking should be included. "
"We had a great stay at the Press Hotel in October to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable and the location is great. Close to all we wanted to do. We did not dine in the restaurant but it looked lovely. The room we were in was nice and spacious with a comfy bed and really nice bathroom.
Our only complaint is that the heating/cooling in our room did not seem to work efficiently. We would set the thermostat to 66 to sleep and it would never get below 68 degrees in the room. However, the hallways of the hotel were nice and cool. We actually opened the window a few nights to let some crisp, fall air in. I did not notify the front desk but if I was there longer I would have.
When we are back in the area we will stay here again for sure."
